Endurance swimmer , speaker and ocean advocate Lewis Pugh became the first person to swim the Seven Seas . He completed his final swim from Southend on Sea up to the Thames Barrier in London as part of his UN Ocean challenge. Completed in two parts - on 28 and 29th August. His total time was 8 hours and 12 minutes. 29th August 2014.
