Photo Session with Carla Bruni's Biological Father, Maurizio Remmert
Businessman Maurizio Remmert during interview for brasilian newspaper "O estado do Sao Paulo" where he talked about his biological daugther, Nicolas Sarkozy's fiancee Carla Bruni. Carla Bruni's parentage came under the spotlight last year when it emerged her father Alberto reportedly told her on his deathbed, in 1996, that she was not his real daughter. She was instead the result of an affair her mother had with an Italian businessman called Maurizio Remmert, 30 years Alberto's junior. Alberto was apparently aware of the infidelity but brought up Carla as if she were his own, alongside the other son and daughter he had with Marisa. The story became public in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where Remmert now lives, in February last year.
