Anaheim 10/03/2005 - 50 YEARS OF MOUSEKE-MEMORIES AT DISNEYLAND - - Disneyland, ÒThe Mickey Mouse ClubÓ and the Mouseketeers - - three American pop culture icons - - share their 50th anniversaries in 2005 and ten of the original Mouseketeers from the classic 1950s TV series (Sherry Alberoni, Sharon Baird, Bobby Burgess, Lonnie Burr, Tommy Cole, Mary Espinosa, Cheryl Holdridge, Cubby OÕBrien, Karen Pendleton and Doreen Tracey) returned to Disneyland on Monday, October 3, to celebrate their golden anniversary. ÒThe Mickey Mouse ClubÓ premiered on October 3, 1955. The salute honoring the ÒThe Mickey Mouse ClubÓ is just one of many memorable moments taking place during the 18-month Disneyland 50th anniversary celebration as it kicks into high gear and continues throughout 2006.
