Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services of JPI Studios ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services
JPI Studios provides professional photography services including but not limited to celebrity portraits, red carpet event coverage, on-set production photography, and image licensing. Specific terms for each service engagement will be outlined in individual contracts or agreements.
Client Responsibilities
Clients engaging our services agree to:
- Provide accurate information and necessary access for photography sessions
- Obtain all necessary permissions, releases, and rights for photographed subjects
- Pay all fees according to the agreed-upon payment terms
- Respect the intellectual property rights of JPI Studios
- Use delivered images only for authorized purposes as outlined in licensing agreements
Copyright and Intellectual Property
All photographs created by JPI Studios are protected by copyright law. JPI Studios retains all rights, title, and interest in the photographs, including copyright ownership. Clients receive a license to use images as specified in their licensing agreement, but do not acquire copyright ownership unless explicitly transferred in writing.
Licensing and Usage Rights
Image usage rights are granted according to specific licensing agreements. Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification of our photographs is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action and financial liability.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are established in individual service agreements. Unless otherwise specified:
- Deposits may be required to secure booking dates
- Final payment is due upon delivery of finished images
- Late payments may incur additional fees
- Unpaid balances may result in withholding of image delivery
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling policies vary by service type and will be outlined in individual agreements. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on notice provided.
Limitation of Liability
JPI Studios will make every reasonable effort to deliver high-quality photography services. However, we cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control including equipment failure, acts of nature, or other unforeseen events. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered.
Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless JPI Studios from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the client's use of photographs or breach of these terms.
Confidentiality
We respect the confidential nature of many photography assignments and will not disclose sensitive information or unpublished images without client authorization, except as required by law.
Portfolio and Marketing Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, JPI Studios reserves the right to use created images for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
